It’s no secret that here at Muckmedden we love a good sausage and that’s why we’re exceptionally pleased to introduce Falleninch Farm as one of our new sponsors for 2016. They will be supplying delicious, high quality butchery products to Cream o’ the Croft and we’ll be first in line to sample it. Excuse me, very hungry person coming through…..
So, who and what is Falleninch Farm?
Falleninch Farm is a 3rd generation traditional family farm in Stirling, with sheep and cattle grazing in the fields.
Having supplied quality fresh meat and other foodstuffs to hotels and caterers across central Scotland since 1965, they decided to create a small butcher’s shop on the farm which opened to the public early in 2014.
They also created a basic website so that customers could place orders and choose to either click and collect from the farm, or have their order delivered free (with orders over �50), initially within a 10 mile radius of the farm.
Priding themselves on freshness, quality and value, the team at Falleninch Farm are delighted that thousands of local people now buy their fresh meat from them on a regular basis.
To maintain a quality service and cope with customer demand, they have significantly extended their shop, which now conveniently displays their extensive range of products. The farm’s delivery area has also grown and now covers most of central Scotland. Their website was upgraded in 2015 so that it’s easier to use and allows customers to choose specific delivery or collection date and the team of friendly butchers at the farm are always happy to offer help and advice.
Order online or pop into the farm butcher’s shop to see what’s on offer – there’s plenty of free parking too! The shop is open Monday to Friday 5am to 5pm and Saturdays 9am to 1pm.
