Well, life just doesn’t get any less hectic does it? The past few weeks have been BIZEEE! ordering bogs and updating risk assessments, but in between the glamour there was a boring old video shoot to do.
It’s been a wee while since we filmed a proper promo video for one of our events so it was great to get the boys from Descent World up to Forfar and show them around the trails. It’s a recurring theme that when people first ride the trails in Forfar they seem a bit shocked at the quality of riding on offer. I’ve been raving about the place ever since I was first captivated by it’s natural flowwww in 2013 and the boys from Descent World were impressed with how fun the place is to ride too. High praise indeed coming from a bunch of Enduro (let alone Funduro) sceptics!
So, we made a killer video (when I say we I actually mean they, I just drove the van and bought the Bridies) which you can watch below to get yourself stoked for the funnest Enduro of the summer. And while you’re watching, try to imagine a one-armed cameraman hanging out of the sliding door of a Transit van in order to get that tracking shot. True story 🙂
Looks good doesn’t it?! And that’s just on any old day. Just wait ’til race day when the stages are all taped-off, the cowbells are clanging and you’re blasting down the Dual Slalom in Reid Park into the heart of The Angus Cycling Festival – it’s just ridiculous!
