Coming to Falkirk Funduro next weekend and looking for cosy, bike-friendly accommodation within a few minutes ride from the event village? Then look no further…..
Some people said it was a bit chilly last year at Falkirk Funduro, but as we’re hard-as-nails we barely noticed….much. If you like the idea of having a cosy wee base to retreat to, Spoke and Boot Camping Pods are situated literally a couple of minutes ride from the race village and can offer you a warm, dry base where you and your mates/family/partner can chill-out (or should that be thaw-out?) before, during and after the races.
As well as fully-insulated/heated pods and hot showers, there is a cosy communal Byre where you and your cronies can hang-out, shot some pool and cook some food. Breakfast is also included.
If you book a pod for the event and have some mates who’d like to camp next to you and utilise the great facilities on offer, that could be a goer too but please mention this when booking just to make sure it’s ok.
The Wheel Caravan Park and Campsite
If you already have mobile accommodation such as a Tent, Campervan or Motorhome and are looking for a fully-serviced site nearby, the newly-opened Wheel Caravan Park and Campsite is probably your best bet and is just a few minutes pedal from the event village.
